WDM worked in a consultative manner with Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure and TransAdelaide to create a teachers resources kit for the Way2Go: Safer, Greener and more active travel for South Australian Primary schools program.
DTEI works with each school with a primary component within a participating council area to develop their individual School Travel Plan. This is assisted through the provision of training and development, advice and resources to Way2Go Focus teachers who coordinate the program in their schools.
This project saw WDM create the Way2Go graphic as well as the teacher resources manuals, discussion pictures that demonstrate the do’s and don’t education of road safety, as well as a DVD/CD all enclosed in a satchel for Early, Primary & Middle Year levels.
You don’t have to be a hare to join Adelaide Running Crew, in fact, they have quite a few tortoise in the group. A fun project for a bunch of pavement pounding oxygen junkies.
